How To: Smoothie Bowls

A smoothie bowl is one of the easiest breakfasts to prepare, they’re full of nutrients and so pretty you kinda don’t want to eat it… I love making smoothie bowls for breakfast as they’re fun to create and easy to whip up in a matter of minutes. There are no specific rules on what should or shouldn’t go into your recipes, my end goal is to always get as much nutrition in as possible. For the following recipes I’ve used mostly fruit but you can use veg too. As I said, there are no rules! So once you’ve decided whats going in the base, then comes the toppings. This is the most creative part! You can literally choose anything you want, whether you want it to be super nutritional or just aesthetically pleasing. Favourite toppings: chia seeds, coconut, carob sauce (similar to melted chocolate), berries, granola, cacao nibs.
