A Little Book Haul

Emma | The Feminine Mystique | The Fragrant Pharmacy | Lolita Since I left school (7 years ago may I add, where does the time go!) I haven’t been reading as much as I’d like to. I remember when I was a young girl I really enjoyed reading the Series of Unfortunate Events books, obviously Harry Potter and shameful to admit… The Twilight series. I remember finding them so easy to read I’d finish a book in a week or so. Nowadays I can’t seem to read a page without instantly forgetting what I just read. Maybe there are too many distractions in my life now what with social media and Netflix being around. So I’ve tried to pick out books I think I’ll really love. Ones that will have me hooked from beginning to end! These 4 books should last me a couple of months so maybe I could write up reviews if thats something you guys would like.. 1.The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan – The book was written in 1963 and …

My Daily Skin Care Routine

rose water | pai cleanser | konnyaku sponge (similar) | good genes by sunday riley | witch hazel Perfecting ones skin care routine is honestly a lot of hard work. From my early teens I’ve been testing all sorts of lotions and potions not knowing that puberty was a b***h and that I was just gonna have to wait it out. When I hit 16 however, it started to settle down and thats when I really started learning about my skin. My skin is sensitive. Oh so sensitive to anything. Sunlight, harsh winds, Alcohol, A hot bath, you name it. It probably affects my skin. Only in the past year have I been using products that treat Rosacea… ‘A condition in which certain facial blood vessels enlarge, giving the cheeks and nose a flushed appearance.’ Obviously it affects everyone differently. It’s actually a very common condition and you may not realise you have it which is great! Essentially its just someone with very pink cheeks. Before I started practicing a proper skin care routine you could …

4 Fun Things To Do In Budapest

Last month me & my boyfriend took a trip to the wonderful Budapest… Where do I start?! I love Budapest. It’s one city with 2 personalities. Formally split in two cities, Buda on the western bank of the Danube and Pest on the east. I loved the views and relaxed vibe of Buda and the upbeat and liveliness of Pest. Everything is easy to get to, Ubers are cheap and so is everything else. Coming back to London was a struggle! Here are a few things that make me want to take a trip back to Budapest!  1. Visit Szechenyi Thermal Baths There are so many Thermal Baths in Budapest but this one I believe is the largest. 2 large outdoor pools, hot indoor pools, saunas, steam rooms & much more. I visited at 10am and it was fairly quiet, next time I’d get there a little earlier. Overall I loved the Baths and could of easily sat in the hot pools all day long. 2. Grab a slice from Pizzica Honestly some of the best …
